I invite you to join me for a Yin yoga practice with our friends at Manifacto. The Yin practice is a slow and mindful practice where we hold poses for longer periods of time with the intention of relaxing the muscles in order to work into our connective tissues and joints. This powerful practice can also help to calm the central nervous system and is a wonderful tool for quieting the mind and connecting with our bodies.
You may have been to one of my guided meditations in the past and I am pleased to share that I am now undertaking a Yin teacher training here in Amsterdam. I have completed and passed 100 hours of training and will begin an advanced module of 100 hours in October. To ensure the safety of all our students I will teach only what I know and have practiced with my own teacher.
Please bring along a mat and a large towel. If you have any injuries or are aware of any restrictions you might have please arrive early so we can discuss how to modify your practice if needed. I look forward to seeing you on the mat!
-We do not have mats at the location so please bring one and at least one large towel.
-Please be there 10 min before the lesson starts.
-This is a donation based event, any donations go to the teachers. There is no minimum donation.
– Do you have any injuries? Please talk to the teacher privately before the class.

About Yoga De Verrekijker:
Yoga De Verrekijker is a yoga community whose goal is to spread awareness of donation-based events for student and teachers. Our aim is to make yoga and meditation affordable for everyone, especially students, and those just starting their yoga practice. We also aim to help new teachers gain confidence, experience, and spread their knowledge with the community. Yoga de verrekijker sustains itself through volunteer contribution. As a community, we are always looking for more volunteers. Volunteers do not need to be teachers! We are always looking for new creative members and collaborators to help us grow our community. We have many ideas on how to further develop the community but we need your help! If you’d like to help contribute to our community, send us a message, or come meet us!
