OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
What does “CONFIDENCE IN TEXTILES – Tested for harmful substances in accordance with Oeko-Tex® Standard 100” really mean?
“If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this textile article, e.g. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless for human health.”
Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 is an internationally recognised certification and the world’s leading health label for textiles. The Oeko-Tex® label means that products undergo testing and got the approval for content of health-hazardous or health-hazardous chemicals and dyes.
In the test they take into account numerous regulated and non-regulated substances, which may be harmful to human health. In many cases the limit values for the STANDARD 100 go beyond national and international requirements. The experts from the OEKO-TEX® institutes do this for you.

Fair Wear Foundation
“The basis of the collaboration between Fair Wear and a member is the Code of Labour Practices (or Labour Standards). The core of this code is made up from eight labour standards that derive from ILO Conventions and the UN’s Declaration on Human Rights. This means the Fair Wear Code of Labour Practices is based on internationally recognised standards which have been set through tripartite negotiation.”
