What are the new measures, due to the corona situation?
  • We only work by appointment.
  • We will provide a facemask and gloves.
  • Please wash & disinfect your hands upon arrival.
  • Please come alone to your appointment.
  • Please let us know if you do not feel good or have been in contact with a coronavirus patient so we can re-schedule your tattoo appointment.
  • If you have any fever, cold, runny nose, cough or any flu-like symptoms, please let us know and we will re-schedule your appointment.
How can I book a tattoo?

To book a tattoo, get in touch with us here, or email tattoo(@)manifacto.amsterdam. Likewise you can contact directly the tattoo artist you prefer. On their tattoo page you will find their email and whatsapp number. 

To reserve your tattoo day, a deposit will always be required – your tattoo artist will explain all the details.

What can I use the tattoo voucher for?

The tattoo  & gift voucher can be used:

  • to pay for the tattoo deposit,
  • to pay for the full tattoo
  • to give it as a gift to someone special,
  • to buy something from our shop.


Do I need an appointment to come by?

Yes, an appointment is required. Because we work by appointment only.

Please book an appointment to discuss your tattoo idea, contact us or your tattoo artist directly.

How to prepare for your tattoo appointment
  • Before getting tattooed, make sure you are well rested, have eaten well and are feeling relaxed.
  • Please arrive on time, so you have time for a drink and to discuss any final tattoo details with the tattoo artist.
  • Bring relaxed, confortable clothes and do bear in mind that some splatter might occur, so do not bring your best clothing.
  • We do not tattoo people that are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
  • We do not tattoo pregnant women, come and get tattooed after you had your baby!
  • We recommend that you do not get tattooed if you have any of the following: diabetes, haemophilia, chronic skin conditions, skin allergies, immune disorders, heart and/or vascular diseases or if you are using any anti-coagulant medicines.
  • If you have any fever, cold, runny nose, cough or any flu-like symptoms, please let us know and we will re-schedule your appointment.
How much will the tattoo cost?

There are several factors that influence the cost of a tattoo.

Price is per hour, do bear in mind that different styles will take longer than others – a realistic portrait will take longer than a line drawing.

Also different places in the body can take less or more time to tattoo.

For your reference our minimum price is 75 euros.

Our tattoo artists will always inform you before the tattoo, of the full cost and duration/sessions of your tattoo.

How long will it take?

Each tattoo is different. Before the start of the tattoo, our tattoo artists will give you an indication of the duration and sessions required for your own tattoo project.

About sun and swimming after getting tattooed

Remember that the end result of a tattoo is also the result of the aftercare you put into it. Treat it good and according to the aftercare instructions and you shall have a beautiful and long lasting tattoo. Baths, swimming pools, saunas, steam and bubble baths are not recommended during the healing process – wait until the tattoo is completely healed.

Do not expose the tattoo to sunlight or tanning beds during the healing process – wait until the tattoo is completely healed.

The tattooed skin will stay sensitive to sunlight for quite some time, avoid strong sun for the first year. Always apply sunscreen after – and only after – it is completely healed. A strong sunscreen is specially advised for colour tattoos.

What if I just want to buy something from the shop, do I need an appointment?

Yes, an appointment is always required.

We do not open every day as we only work on appointment.
