Hello? Hello? Open Ateliers Amsterdam Noord: with 115 participants, it’s the biggest artists event in Amsterdam!
We will be showing our art, selling prints and jewellery – come and say hi, have a coffee and see the art we have been making.

Worth a visit will be Patricia Guarda – she has exhibited with Manifacto in our gallery in Amsterdam east, and this time you can see her new sculptures and other works on the 3rd floor, unit 330.
There is the central exhibition at the DRAKA, Mellius – Atelier II.
“A great diversity can be found at our Central Exhibition: ceramics and sculpture, photography and video, painting and graphics, jewellery, textiles, furniture and autonomous installations, conceptual and with audiovisual elements.
It offers an overview, a must for anyone who wants to orientate themselves, to determine which studios to visit!

“Hello?” is this year’s theme.
It represents the encounter, the tentative approach, the desire to meet others, the exchange of ideas about art and culture, and the act of getting to know each other.
Open Ateliers Amsterdam Noord is an annual event in which artists open their studios to the public for a weekend. Especially in these turbulent times, artists have been inspired and have indeed created new work. Visitors will become aware of this in the studios.
This year, a record number of 115 artists from Amsterdam Noord are participating, showing their work in their studios or at other surprising locations. From the NDSM terrain to Halte Zamenhofstraat, there’s art everywhere! You’ll know where to find all the studios and exhibit spaces through the digital map on the website and a well-distributed print booklet.
It’s a delightfully gritty spot and a great starting point for a visit. In the vast warehouse, you can let your thoughts roam freely and find inspiration.

“A new phase, a new sound, new work by the artists from Amsterdam North on October 2 and 3, 2021.
The artist studios in Amsterdam North will open again. The annual weekend of Open Ateliers Amsterdam Noord, abbreviated OAN, will take place on 2 and 3 October 2021.
Artists, who have been in the profession for years or are newcomers, open the doors of their workshops wide and show their work, from ceramics to sculptures. , from photography to painting and from jewellery to autonomous installations.
Not only the studios are open.
- There will be a Central Exhibition with work by each participant. This year in one of the halls of the old Draka factory.
- And there will be Hotspots: locations where several participants exhibit their work.
Young and old, art lover or day tripper, everyone is welcome on 2 and 3 October.
Come and have a look in Amsterdam Noord, there is again a lot to see, do and discover!”

De kunstenaarsateliers in Amsterdam Noord gaan weer open. Het jaarlijkse weekend van Open Ateliers Amsterdam Noord, afgekort OAN, vindt plaats op 2 en 3 oktober 2021.
Kunstenaars, al jaren in het vak, of nieuwkomer, zetten de deuren van hun werkplaats wagenwijd open en laten hun werk zien, van keramiek tot beeldhouwwerk, van fotografie tot schilderkunst en van sieraden tot autonome installaties.
Niet alleen de ateliers zijn open.
- Er komt een Centrale Expositie met werk van elke deelnemer. Dit jaar in één van de hallen van de oude Draka fabriek .
- En er komen Hotspots: locaties waar meerdere deelnemers hun werk exposeren.
